Bethany: I'm an educator working in the Rio Grande Valley along the Texas-Mexico border. I'm incredibly passionate about reforming education at the classroom, school, and system levels to close the wide achievement gap across the country. I've been a TWI teacher and school leader and know from personal experience how critical collaboration and resource-sharing is for those of us engaged in the ambitious task of preparing children for college and, along the way, helping them become fully bilingual and biliterate.
